Festival of Sacred Art 2025

The Festival of Sacred Art is an integral part of the cultural autumn in Košice. Every year it brings a rich programme of concerts, exhibitions, lectures and other accompanying events that appeal to the general public.

Visitors and supporters of the festival will be able to enjoy various types of art performed by local and foreign performers in sacral and other spaces.

Accompanying events such as the Jubilee Youth Encounter with the Archbishop and the associated extraordinary concert by world class modern music performer DJ Padre Guilherme, which will take place after Mass on 8 November at St Elizabeth's Cathedral.

The festival will also feature two world music premieres, the first will be Yevgeny Irshai: Opertorium, the second will be the festival's closing concert , Tribute to Pavel Krshkov. You can also look forward to the exhibition of photographs by the eminent Czech photographer Prof. Jindřich Štreit 'Being at Home', which will be preceded by a professional moderated discussion on the importance of home care and the need for the development of home palliative care in Košice and the surrounding area.
