Padre Guilherme concert accompanies the Jubilee Youth Meeting

It begins at 5 p.m. in the Cathedral of St. Elizabeth in Košice with a Holy Mass with the Apostolic Nuncio to Slovakia, Msgr. Nicolo Girasoli, Cardinal Dominic Duke and invited guests. Together we want to express our gratitude to Archbishop Bernard Bober for his dedicated work for the entire Catholic Church in Slovakia.

The meeting of young people will continue on Alžbetina Street, in front of the Cathedral of St. Elizabeth, where the Portuguese priest Padre Guilherme will play a concert, preceded by the band Godzone.

Padre Guilherme is followed on social media by more than 1.5 million followers from all over the world. Thanks to his original musical evangelization, he is quickly becoming more and more popular. Before the closing Mass with Pope Francis at the World Youth Day in Lisbon in 2023, young pilgrims woke up to the solemn Hallelujah of Georg Friedrich Handel, musically and rhythmically mixed by the priest and DJ, Father Guilherme. This exceptional priest was able to combine sacred music with modern music to create an exceptional and original musical whole. Admission is free.
