DENISA ŠULCOVÁ is the first Slovak female mountain guide.

The profession of mountain guide is no longer a purely male affair. Proof of this is the first Slovak female mountain guide, DENISA ŠULCOVÁ, who successfully completed a demanding four-year course.

Although there are over seven thousand five hundred certified mountain guides in EUROPE, only 2% of them are women.
