UEFA European Under-21 Championship 2025

In the summer of 2025, Košice will welcome the best young European footballers as part of the UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship 2025. The tournament, featuring 16 participants, will be held for the third time, but Slovakia will make history as the first country to host such a major event independently. Matches will take place in eight Slovak cities from June 11 to June 28. A total of 31 games are expected to be played by the 16 participating teams.

The final group draw, held on December 3, 2024, determined that players from Finland, the Netherlands, Denmark, and Ukraine will face off at the Košice Football Arena.
