ART & TECH DAYS 2024

From November 18 to 23, experience quality workshops, media art exhibitions, an international conference and networking in the Barracks/Kulturpark in Košice.

The main point of the program will be the Art & Tech Conference on November 21 . The series of lectures will feature architects, designers, artists, cultural and technological experts, for example:

Winy Maas , a well-known Dutch architect, urban planner and visionary of cities of the future, co-founder of the architectural studio MVRDV.

Mitchell Joachim , renowned professor of architecture at New York University. He is a TED Senior Fellow and co-founder of Terreform ONE, a non-profit art, architecture and urban design research group.

Maya Offir Magnat , an Israeli performer, speaker and pedagogue, who deals with mediated intimacy, sexuality and technology in her artistic creation and research, looking for different ways to use technology to create new kinds of intimacy.

In accordance with the PERIPHERY theme , the speakers will offer innovative perspectives on how ideas created on the periphery can solve global challenges, such as climate change, sustainability or social inequalities.

In addition to the conference, you can look forward to professional workshops and media art exhibitions .

The festival of media art, technology and digital culture Art & Tech Days is brought by Creative Industry Košice in cooperation with EIT Culture & Creativity .
