KOŠICE CELEBRATES - CELEBRATIONS OF THE CITY OF KOŠICE DAY BEGINS ON SUNDAY

This year we will also remember how special Košice is. From April 27th to May 11th, the city will be alive with celebrations of Košice City Day. Join us for two weeks full of culture, history, music, experiences and community.

We celebrate Košice City Day every year in honor of the historical moment of May 7, 1369, when King Louis the Great granted Košice a coat of arms - the first city in Europe to do so.

During the celebrations of Košice City Day, you can look forward to a diverse range of cultural events, sports activities, exhibitions, concerts and many other experiences right on the streets of our city.
