
Drama: Salman Rushdie: HARUN AND THE SEA OF STORIES
In the land of Alifbai, a city so sad that it has forgotten its name, lives the famous storyteller Rashid Kalifa with his wife Soraya and his son Haroon. The people devour his wonderful stories with gratitude - until the day Soraya runs away with a neighbor and the storyteller Rashid loses his extraordinary Gift of Eloquence. His son Haroon decides to help him regain this ability. Under miraculous circumstances, he befriends the water genie Aktak and the great flying Dudka. With their help, he reaches the land of Kahani and its two regions, Gup and Chup, where he becomes involved in a great battle to save the Ocean of Story Streams. The adventurous mission finally ends successfully and, after a joyless beginning, happiness returns to the lives of Haroon and his father Rashid.
