Krútňava is a dramatic and psychological story from Slovakia. The original theme of sin and forgiveness, which consists of six scenes. The typical plot of the love of two men for one woman, the murder of a rival out of jealousy, a wedding, the birth of a child, the echoing conscience of the protagonist, but also the final catharsis that brings reconciliation and forgiveness. The NDKE Opera will present this title on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the first performance of Krútňava in December 1949.
