FOR EVERYONE ELSE AND FOREVER

Focusing on the results of the creative activity of only one gender arose from ongoing research during the reassessment of the gallery's collection fund, the formation and updating of the acquisition strategy, but mainly from the need to reflect on topics that have been overlooked for a long time, unresolved or still not sufficiently addressed. Topics related to the disproportion of representation of female authors compared to male authors in the funds of collection-creating institutions and their subsequent presentation. The hotness or topicality of this problem is not only reflected by the concurrently held exhibitions, thematizing the position of female authors and their works in the world, but also by the fragile and balancing awareness, unconsciousness or even rejection of the need for gender equality in society.
