Guided tour: Imrich Svitana – Periphery of Consciousness

The exhibition Periphery of Consciousness is a retrospective look at more than half a century of work by the still productive artist, jeweler, medalist and sculptor Imrich Svitana. It represents an effort to revise, reassess and re-present a selection from over sixty years of extensive creative activity, consisting of freehand drawing, joke drawing, illustrative study drawing - motifs connecting two-dimensional and three-dimensional visual media; chamber sculpture, sculptural work, monumental realizations for public space, a series of zoomorphic climbing frames for children's playgrounds, medal creation and, last but not least, jewelry creation.
