The drama Julie is Silent reveals the dark side of tennis and top-level sports through a lens that has been missing so far.

Julie is a gifted tennis player from the elite Belgian academy Les Hirondelles. Everyone predicts a brilliant career for her. She is not only talented, but also humble and absolutely devoted to tennis and to her coach Jeremy, who acts as an unquestionable authority in the academy... until a tragic event in his training group raises disturbing suspicions. Julie can answer all the questions... But despite the insistence of those around her, she decides to remain silent.

The debut of talented director Leonard van Dilj is a meticulously directed portrait of a humble and unostentatiously strong heroine who struggles with a difficult inner dilemma and an environment that can be devastating for the fragile psyche of teenagers. There is not always the possibility of a second chance.
