three-part dance evening as part of the program of the first year of the Ži Miluj Tancuj festival

T - Parasite
In the womb that was once home to two beating hearts, the dark whisper of a twin's dead pulse now echoes. Vanishing twin syndrome is a phenomenon where one twin dies in the womb during pregnancy and is swallowed up by the surviving twin or the mother's body.
Cindy Ng is a dancer, author, and creator, and a twin. That’s why she was drawn to the topic of vanishing twin syndrome. In collaboration with Jack Strömberg, Cindy’s choreography Parasite asks how the loss of one twin affects the surviving twin, their parents, and their environment. She seeks answers through movement and communication between the twins.

R - TriKE
Three artists united by one city - KE. Three women from Košice who traveled abroad to join you on one stage on May 24, 2025 and share a piece of London, Prague and Linz. The improvised performance is a dynamic exploration of identity, cultural connection and personal stories, which are reflected in their movements and improvisation. Every moment is unpredictable, with dance expressions in dialogue with the musical accompaniment, creating an atmosphere full of emotions and creative energy. In this way, the audience will find themselves in a unique experience where different personalities, with different experiences, meet on one stage.
Kristína Šérová is a professional dancer, teacher and choreographer with international education and experience from Austria, Hungary and Slovakia. In her work, she combines technical prowess with authentic movement research and themes of personal and social transformation.
Michaela Dzurovčínová is a versatile dancer, choreographer and performer, working in contemporary dance, physical theatre and interdisciplinary projects. Her practice is characterised by a sensitive approach to the body, space and creation, with an emphasis on personal experience and relationship with the audience.
Tímea Szalontayová is a dancer, performer and educator who has long been dedicated to connecting movement and improvisation. Her artistic language draws from deep bodily practice, empathy and exploration of identity in movement.

I - And Now
The dance performance And Now is an intimate journey into the present moment. Through raw, unpolished movement, a space is opened for an inner dialogue – between body and mind, between dancer and audience, between what is and what is happening. This “dance poem” does not offer a story with a beginning and an end. Instead, it invites you to slow down, feel and perceive what often escapes – the presence itself. The performance is an invitation to a silent dive into your own inner space. Let yourself be guided by the body that speaks – without words, but with the full power of the experienced moment.
Julien Klopfenstein graduated from the National Conservatory of Lyon. In 2018, he moved to Hungary, where he performed internationally with the Budapest Dance Theatre. Since 2020, he has been working as an independent artist on the international scene, collaborating with leading companies across Europe, which has led him to the prestigious 18th Biennale di Venezia. His choreographic work combines technical precision with raw emotion and is gaining increasing recognition.
