National Design Award 2024 - Exhibition

After Bratislava, the people of Košice will also be able to see a unique exhibition of projects that have resonated on the Slovak communication design scene over the past two years at the National Design Award 2024 exhibition. It will be open to the public at the Alfa Gallery in Kasárny/Kulturpark from February 12 to March 14, 2025.

“The exhibition brings a comprehensive look at the current Slovak communication design scene, capturing the spirit, challenges and innovations of today. The selection of works shows that contemporary design often transcends the boundaries of aesthetics and form, serving more as a medium for storytelling, problem-solving and social impact. With a record number of 555 entries, the 21st edition reflects the growing interest and engagement of the Slovak design community,” said curator Juraj Blaško, a leading designer, educator and vice-rector of the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava.

Visitors to the exhibition can view 155 works by 137 authors in 11 categories of communication design every day except Monday from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Opening: February 11, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.
