The tradition of New Year's concerts is one of the popular events with which the Košice State Philharmonic celebrates the arrival of the new year. The year 2025 under the baton of the renowned Slovak conductor Rastislav Štúr with a varied program that guarantees the beginning of the year full of music, joy and a festive atmosphere.

The New Year's concert will be enriched by the performance of the Bratislava Boys' Choir led by choirmaster Magdaléna Rovňáková. This world-renowned ensemble won an audience not only in Slovakia, but also abroad with its pure and heartfelt expression, and is proud of first places in international competitions. Years of cooperation with symphony orchestras enriched the troupe's repertoire with dozens of oratorios, cantatas and symphonies conducted by leading world conductors.

The concert will feature works of classical music that are inherent to the holiday season, traditions and New Year's celebrations. The audience can look forward to cheerful melodies that will create an unforgettable atmosphere and bring hope, optimism and positive energy that a new beginning brings to the hearts of visitors.
