The 1972 film captures an intimate musical performance by the rock band Pink Floyd, which takes place without an audience in the ruins of the ancient Roman amphitheater in Pompeii. In October 1971, director Adrian Maben, completely absorbed by the spirit of the place, filmed a live concert there, featuring famous songs such as Echoes, Saucerful of Secrets and One of These Days.

You'll get a behind-the-scenes look at the recording of The Dark Side of The Moon at the legendary Abbey Road Studios. This rare footage features interviews with the director and band members, as well as interactions between the musicians, capturing their spontaneous humor. The film also delivers a visual treat with breathtaking panoramic shots of Pompeii, taken both day and night.

The film was first released at the 1972 Edinburgh Film Festival. We bring you a digitally remastered version with audiovisual enhancements, but retaining the authentic charm of the original recording.
