In 2019, the Košice Puppet Theatre and the Thália Theatre prepared a joint art project called "Tradition of the Substrate in Intercultural Creation". This project was financially supported as part of the Terra Incognita program implemented by the Košice Self-Governing Region . Its uniqueness lies in the fact that it was able to connect several types of art and several cultural institutions - in addition to the Košice Puppet Theatre and the Thália Theatre, the East Slovak Gallery Košice (VSG) and the Jozef Adamovič Conservatory also became project partners. Together, they created a platform whose basic motif is interdisciplinarity in art. Four independent entities pointed out the possibilities of connecting artistic activities of diverse cultural institutions in an unconventional space. How to go beyond the framework of one type of art - theatre, literature and fine arts - through interdisciplinary activities (theatrical performance, experimental workshops for the public and workshops for conservatory students). The aim was to reach a wider range of visitors who have so far been inclined to only one type of art and to point out the connection between fine arts, theatre, literature and acting. The main output of the project is the presentation of the dream comedy by Polish author Slawomir Mrožek entitled Three Nights on the experimental stage of the Jorik Puppet Theatre in Košice. Slawomir Mrožek is one of the most famous representatives of the so-called Eastern Bloc of absurd drama and director József Czajlik has already directed his work in Budapest. The dream comedy Three Nights will feature two guest artists (Lucia Hurajová, Péter Nádasdi) and two members of the BDK artistic ensemble (Erika Orgován Molnárová, Peter Creek Orgován). The dramaturge of the production is Miklós Forgács, who revealed the following about the work:

" Two men. One room. Two colleagues. An engineer and a master. Always on business trips. Always together. They carry home in their bags. And suddenly a third person appears. A woman. A woman who desires, who loves, who has her own secret. Who is that woman? From now on, what is true and real and what is a vision and a dream? Can't a dream be reality? "

Poetics and bizarreness, hypersensitivity and grotesque, relentless clairvoyance and creative fog, fragility and ferocity together create an unusual atmosphere and an extraordinary world that allows the performers to create brilliant acting creations. For the first time on the JORIK stage, you will see the famous Slovak actress Lucie Hurajová. Venue: OK – OZ 3, JORIK stage, Tajovského 4. The capacity of the JORIK stage is 75 seats. The performance is 80 minutes long.
