We've all tasted a lemon. It's sour because lemon juice is an acid. The chemical that's the opposite of an acid is called a base. Come with us to use red cabbage to find out which prepared solutions are acidic and which are basic. Did you know that you can make your own lemon battery from a lemon? You'll see that science and cooking can go hand in hand and it's really possible.
