suggestum: A Sudden Moment of Darkness_Michal Tallo & Kodiki / PREMIERE

The project "suggestum" (from Latin, meaning "raised platform, stage, platform") brings together evenings combining staged readings of contemporary literature and electronic music. The pilot evening "Sudden Moment of Darkness" will present the work of two artists, who are among the most sought-after names in contemporary Slovak literature and electronic music, in a unique combination of words, music, performance and lighting design.

Michal Tallo is a Slovak writer, laureate of the 2024 Tatra Banka Foundation Award in the Young Creator - Literature category, author of several poetry collections and the prose book Everything is OK, Love is Everywhere, which became a phenomenon after its publication in 2024. His prose, full of mysterious and absurd phenomena, explores the lives of people who, in an era of instability, uncertainty and collapse, try to achieve fulfillment and happiness in extreme ways, but sometimes with all their might and consciously the exact opposite.

Kodiki, a self-proclaimed "clothed and courageous", is definitely one of the most promising artists to emerge on the Slovak electronic scene in recent years. He is known for his entertaining stage presence and captivates the audience with a unique blend of emotional connections and surprises. Fast and energetic waves full of love, anger, forgiveness, and so on...

Events under the auspices of the Na Peróne Theatre are curated by the duo Pavel Bakajsa and Dominika Moravčíková.
