The Executioner's Son (th) + Šimanský-Niesner / concert

The Na Peróne Theater invites you to a concert by a pair of Czech-Slovak projects Katov Syn(th) (SK) and Šimanský-Niesner (CZ).

Katov Syn(th) is a solo project by Slovak artist Dominik Novák, which combines modular synthesizers and field recordings. He combines these elements live using various sound processing techniques, creating analog textures and melodic lines.

The guitarist duo Šimanský-Niesner consists of Jakub Šimanský and Tomáš Niesner. Their music displays a diversity and unique approach to tuning, rhythm, and mantric repetition, as well as a sense of catchy melodies, which makes the duo adhere to the tradition of American primitivism, Czech folk, and Eastern musical influences.

Concert starts at 7:30 PM, gates open at 7:00 PM.
