Is it possible to escape the past and live on with impunity? Is revenge possible? What is the point? Is it possible to wash away guilt? How to live with the knowledge of it? Is it possible to forgive and forget?

The play False Note, which will be presented by the Theater without Masks on May 31 and June 1, 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Historic Town Hall, will transport the audience to 1989. They will find themselves in the dressing room of the Geneva Philharmonic Orchestra, the renowned conductor HP Miller, shortly after the end of one of his concerts.

The orchestra didn't play well, so Miller is angry. All he wants to do is take a shower and go home. However, his great admirer León Dinkel comes to see him, claiming that he traveled all the way from Belgium to the concert just to pay his respects to the maestro. He can't get rid of the annoying Dinkel. He doesn't want to leave at any cost. Miller wants to call the police, but when he sees an old photo that Dinkel has brought him, everything changes. With the old photo, Miller's terrifying past, which has been kept secret all his life, enters the dressing room.
