TRANSPEED - exhibition
TRANSPEED explores the ontology of movement in an era defined by speed, transit, and global acceleration. The exhibition focuses on the automobile as a cultural and technological object, and how mobility shapes our perceptions, identities, and ecological tensions.
The car compresses space, flattens time, and rearranges our perception. It is a prosthesis of desire, an indicator of social status, and a monument to fossil modernity. At once utopian and entropic, the automobile is a capsule of progress and a witness to ecological acceleration.
The project was supported by the Košice Self-Governing Region, and public funds were provided by the Art Support Fund.
