With love, your Hilde
Hilde is a member of an anti-Nazi group in Berlin in 1942. She falls in love with another member, Hans. They spend a beautiful summer together before they are caught by the Gestapo and Hilde ends up in prison, eight months pregnant.
Berlin, 1942. It was the most beautiful summer for Hilde - she was madly in love with Hans and happily pregnant. But in the midst of the passion, great danger lurks. Hans joins the anti-Nazi resistance with a group of young people who later come to be called the "Red Orchestra". Despite the enormous risk, Hilde decides to join in too, but is arrested by the Gestapo and gives birth to her son in prison. In a desperate situation, Hilde now develops a quiet inspirational power, but she only has a few months left with her son. A humanistic, evocative, masterfully told portrait of love in dark times, about the immense courage to fight evil, even if this fight may cost you everything.
