The MADUAR group was founded on 1st August 1986 by Juraj Matyinkó, Ladislav Matyinkó and Ladislav Dulovič. In 1987 they were joined by guitarist Erik Aresta. MAtyinkó DUlovič AResta- MADUAR.

They started rehearsing their first songs in September 1987 in the apartment of the Matyinkó family. This was followed by concerts, various performances at singing competitions such as Signal '89, Gemerská ruža '89, Bystrické zvony '90. After a short break, when the members started to study at universities, Ladislav Matyinkó bought his first synthesizer in 1991 . The turning point in his career started with the purchase of an ATARI 1040 STFM computer.

In 1992 the band won the Košice Golden Treasure.

The band entered the recording studio for the first time in 1993. It was in the studio of the Slovak Radio in Košice, where they recorded two songs: Dancefloor and Requiem for Zuzana.
