Blind-friendly: Best of Fest Anča

On Tuesday, June 30, at 4:00 p.m. , we will screen a selection of short films titled ' BEST OF FEST ANČA.'

The screenings are accompanied by an audio commentary that provides visitors with a detailed description of the film’s plot, individual scenes, actors, and their gestures and facial expressions. The entrance to the theater is not wheelchair-accessible, so trained ushers are available in case any visitors need assistance climbing the stairs. The Úsmev Cinema is located behind the Mlynská bašta and Stredná priemyselná škola Dopravná buildings, next to the Urban department store. When selecting films, we focus on shorter-runtime films and consult with the ÚNSS and members of the blind and visually impaired community.

Admission to the screening is €3. You can purchase tickets online or in person from the usher before the screening.

🟡 Best of Fest Anča 2025 is a collection of award-winning short animated films from the current edition of the Fest Anča International Animation Festival, selected from over 1,100 submitted titles. This year, a jury composed of international guests awarded prizes in four categories. You’ll see the best of short animation, student films, music videos, and children’s films.
