Deaf-friendly: When life tastes good
7+
We invite you to a screening as part of the deaf-friendly series, which makes films accessible to people with hearing impairments. On Friday, December 19, at 4:00 pm, we will screen the animated film WHEN LIFE TASTE.
An induction loop has been installed in the upper rows of the large theater to provide sound transmission to hearing aids. If necessary, you must switch your hearing aid to the T position (short for T-Coil - telephone coil).
The screenings are accompanied by specially adapted subtitles that are more detailed and colour-coded, allowing deaf and hard-of-hearing visitors a fuller experience.
Admission to the screening is €3 for all. Tickets can be purchased online or in person from the presenter before the screening.
The summer holidays are coming to an end and Benjamin Pippet, a thirteen-year-old obese boy with excellent cooking skills, is facing the most difficult year of his life so far. On the advice of the school doctor, he is forced to proactively address his dangerous excess weight, which brings his divorced parents together in a concerted effort to help their son. Despite the care of doctors and dieticians, Ben finds the motivation to lose weight very difficult. Aside from his loyal friend Erik and his sister Sona, food is his only joy in life. However, this changes on the first day of September when he sees his classmate Klara again. Because Klara always stands up for him and expresses her admiration for his courage in embarking on a difficult diet, the boy gets the impression that a true love is growing between them.
