Getting to know watercolour: structure

Discover the beauty in the details and learn how to capture the fascinating contrast of materials. We invite you to a watercolor class at Výmenník Važecká on January 22, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. This time we will focus on texture. We will paint a winter motif of an old rusty railing under the snow.

We will demonstrate how to use watercolor to express the difference between the rough, irregular surface of rust and the softness of freshly fallen snow. We'll try our hand at working with texture, layering and specific colour tones to breathe depth and realism into a painting. Together, we'll go over techniques that will help you capture even the smallest details.

The course is suitable for beginners and advanced. Professional materials and small refreshments are included. You will take home the finished work.
