JBL JUMP FEST 2026

For decades, athletics did not attract Košice residents to stadiums, nor athletes to Košice. That is why the civic association Athletika Košice decided to invite both Košice citizens and athletes to the streets of Košice. The JBL JUMP FEST project brings athletics as close to the people as possible and is a pioneer of street athletics in Slovakia. The beautiful scenery of St. Elizabeth's Cathedral during athletic competitions is an experience not only for spectators but also for world-class athletes. The races themselves are an advertisement for athletics and motivate children to take up the Queen's sport.

In 2016, the idea of organizing a ski jumping meet in the heart of Košice was born, which would revive not only the local ski jumping tradition. That's why if you look at our logo, there is the word 'Jump', which means jump, and the image of one of the Velďák sisters, very successful students of the Košice ski jumping school.
