Košice City Day 2026

Get ready for the annual celebration full of colour, singing, dancing and joy on the occasion of Košice City Day - 7th May! On the dates from 29 April to 10 May, a lively and unique atmosphere awaits you in the city, which you can enjoy during a casual stroll through the city and while attending performances from every interest. This year we will meet for the 22nd time in the streets of the magical Old Town of Košice and commemorate a historically significant event - the granting of the first city coat of arms, together with the armorial charter of Armáles, to the first city in medieval Europe by King Louis I in 1369.
