Košice Night of Museums and Galleries 2026

Košice Night of Museums and Galleries, the annual evening showcase of art and culture, will really surprise you this year with an imaginative theme and a tailor-made programme entitled: Expect the Unexpected! Already on 16 May 2026 from 17. All festival participants will enjoy the 22nd edition of the event in the lively night streets with unique exhibitions, a playful accompanying programme for young and old and, above all, the excitement of discovering unknown art from 16.00 to midnight.

As in previous years, visitors will also appreciate the unique workshops, exhibitions and creative activities for children at leading city institutions such as the East Slovak Museum, East Slovak Gallery, Slovak Technical Museum, Vojtech Löffler Museum and Košice CulturalCentres. In total, up to 26 locations will offer participants a rich cross-section of diverse fields, such as contemporary art, science, technology, sports, sacred urban buildings, architecture, astronomy, medicine, theatre, traditional crafts and historical literature and press. The newly renovated Urban Tower, the design-led MarathonPoint and the exceptional Mathé Villa Atelier Museum will also be interesting new additions .
