Life Above the Arctic Circle

The event will take place in the basement of the Úsmev Cinema.

What is daily life like in a place where the sun doesn’t rise above the horizon for weeks on end? Where temperatures drop to -30 °C and the night sky is lit up by the magical northern lights?

Mirka and Marcel – the Travel Monkeys duo, travelers from Košice who have been exploring the world for the past 3 years and have already visited more than 25 countries, will take you on an unforgettable journey to northern Norway—a land of extremes, wild nature, and powerful experiences. It was here that they spent up to 8 months above the Arctic Circle.

They experienced the polar night, encountered majestic moose, watched whales, tasted traditional reindeer dishes, and admired the dancing aurora borealis almost every day in the capital of the Northern Lights.
