The musical film *Michael* chronicles in detail the career of the future King of Pop, from his first steps in the family group The Jackson 5, where he demonstrated the greatest talent from the very beginning, even though he was the youngest member of the band. The increasingly popular group is led with a firm hand by his father, Joe (Colman Domingo)—perhaps too firm for the fragile Michael. When music producers begin to take an interest in the Jackson 5, everyone immediately realizes that Michael is the group’s most valuable member. The boldest among them even begin to suggest that his career would benefit if he pursued a solo path. Joe, a despotic father and tough manager rolled into one, naturally won’t hear of it. Michael, however, longs to go his own way. And so, a calm before the storm descends upon the Jacksons—a storm that will give birth to a musical legend and some of the best songs in the history of popular music.

The screening will take place at Amfik on Festival Square and will begin after dark (around 9:00 p.m.). You can purchase tickets online, at the Úsmev Cinema box office, or directly on-site before the event. The final ticket price includes a €0.50 handling fee, which is added to each ticket at the payment gateway or at the box office. This fee is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.

Screenings take place regardless of the weather, except in the event of hazardous conditions (in which case a cancellation notice will be posted and tickets will be refunded to all attendees).
