Ondrej Šoth, Zuzana Mistríková: NATIVE EARTH
Choreographers of three generations will guide the audience through Slovakia and give them a glimpse into the deep well of folk customs and traditions. A hundred years is a long way and on the way you have to stop and look back from time to time. Who we are and where we come from. The performance will also be a celebration of our native land, our Slovak and Czech traditions. The main motif is the story of a Czech girl and a Slovak boy, whose relationship is disapproved by the girl's parents because they want to marry her off to a rich bachelor. The performance is dedicated to the anniversary of the establishment of independent Czechoslovakia and to the ninetieth birthday of Juraj Kubánek.
