Slovak Psychoanalysis in Artforum

Join us for an inspiring evening in the Artforum bookstore in Košice dedicated to talks about the history and present of psychoanalysis in Slovakia, psyche, culture and the depths of the human soul.
We will present the new issue of the journal Slovak Psychoanalysis, which brings the perspectives of the current generation of psychoanalysts associated with Slovakia, and then open a discussion on the importance of psychoanalysis in clinical practice, its contribution to mental health promotion, and its role in the broader social and cultural context, where it helps to better understand the psyche of both the individual and the society.

We invite you to an evening dedicated to the journal Slovak Psychoanalysis on Thursday, 22 January at 18:00 at Artforum in Košice, Hlavná Street. 87
The magazine will be presented by:
Ivica Uhríková - editor-in-chief, psychoanalyst, member of the Slovak Study Group and the Czech Psychoanalytic Society
Jiří Jakubů - founding editor of SP, psychoanalyst and member of the Czech Psychoanalytic Society
The evening will be moderated by philosopher Peter Takáč

The event is organised by Artforum Košice and the Slovak Psychoanalytic Society.

The Slovak Psychoanalytic Society focuses on the development of psychoanalysis through training in the method of psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy, education in the form of psychoanalytic studios, film evenings, seminars and conferences. It publishes its own professional journal Slovak Psychoanalysis.
