A Košice legend, Béla Gerster, is the one responsible for the design of the Corinth Canal and a collaborator of the Panama Canal, too. Stop by his house on Hlavná 9, next to the Lower Gate, a pay your respect to this exceptional Austro-Hungarian architect at his family home.
