Entering the city from the Košice Railway and Bus Station is way more impressive thanks the Jakab’s Palace. The authors, the Jakab brothers, are responsible for the designs of many iconical buildings of Košice from around the 19th century. The Neo-Gothic palace was also used as an office of the Czechoslovak president Edvard Beneš. Nowadays, it belongs on the list of Slovak Heritage Sites.
