This underground archaeological complex was discovered only during the 1990s reconstruction of Hlavná St. Altogether, there are around 26 fragments of the city’s original fortification. The Lower Gate Museum is the largest and the most interesting one. Descend the stairs and check out its exhibitions, open to the public in the summer months.
