Macák Pottery

Walk through the streets of the city and turn from Hlavná in the direction of Katova Bašta, from where you will soon reach the picturesque Hrnčiarska Street, otherwise known as Crafts Alley. Here you will find artisans engaged in bag-making, herbalism, artistic carpentry, and blacksmithing. Pay special attention to Macák Pottery, where the main representative, Igor Macák, together with his wife, runs a workshop and a small souvenir shop. You can view their artistic creations up close and even arrange a private creative workshop directly with the master. During the workshop, you'll have the opportunity to create your own souvenir featuring a crow, the symbol of Košice!
