Set of cups Spiritus Cassoviae
The main inspiration when creating the series of Košice souvenirs became the small reliefs and other structures, which can be found scattered
across the city. The basic ability of clay is to take on any form/shape. I decided to use these authentic textures and reliefs directly on ceramic products. Consequently, I created a series of unique cups, plates, and magnets using historical stories, original reliefs, and even inscriptions from the bells so as to spread the spirit of the city further.
The set consists of 2 cups.

I work with simple minimalist shapes. I use various prints, structures, and simple coloring. When I create, I make use of the natural attributes of certain materials and the functionality of shapes, too. I have worked with clay since high school, when I fell in love with its natural ability to take on any form. I guess that’s why we understand each other well, even though I change materials from time to time.
