A Gourmet Journey: Fest at SEVEN by Lukáš Heuser

Come enjoy a gourmet tasting prepared for you by Chef Lukáš Heuser from the ORIGIN restaurant in Lučenec at SEVEN Restaurant Café in Košice.

After more than twelve years in Switzerland, Lukáš Heuser returned to his hometown of Lučenec, where he and his wife Dominika founded the ORIGIN restaurant. The name itself captures his approach to gastronomy—respect for origin, seasonality, and ingredients, which he transforms into contemporary dishes using modern techniques. His cuisine works with what is familiar to us—freshwater fish, game, vegetables, fruit, and fermentation—but the result is not a return to tradition. It is a modern and bold take on the flavors we know. Lukáš’s signature style has also earned recognition from culinary guides. Gault&Millau Slovakia honored him with the title “Chef of Tomorrow,” ORIGIN awarded him 16 out of 20 points, the Gurmán Award named him “Discovery of the Year 2024,” and in Switzerland, he was a finalist for the Marmite Youngster 2023 award.
