How do humans affect the environment? What is happening to our planet as a result of air and ocean pollution? The answers will be provided by the interactive workshop “BIO EKO Experiments,” which is part of the SteelPark Science Playground’s summer program.

Through fascinating experiments, young scientists will discover how human activity affects natural ecosystems and why protecting the environment is more important than ever before. Together, they’ll examine selected environmental phenomena that they’ll not only be able to explain but also test hands-on.

They’ll take part in hands-on experiments focused on changes in the oceans, as well as water and air pollution. They will learn about the consequences that emissions and pollution can have on plants, animals, and humans, and discover the scientific connections behind the phenomena we encounter in everyday life.
