Anton Lambert / concert
Anton Lambert (Belgium, 1997) has been involved in music since he was six years old. He began by playing the cello and studying classical music, but later switched to the double bass, which opened the door to jazz and improvised music for him. In 2023, he completed his master’s degree in jazz and electronic music composition at the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp.
In addition to performing in various musical ensembles, he is also involved in interdisciplinary projects as a double bassist, electronic musician, and composer. He provides musical accompaniment for theater and dance performances and creates sound installations for multimedia works.
In his current work, he focuses primarily on improvisation and exploring the boundaries between acoustic and electronic sound. He is also a founding member of the European Music Collective.
At the Na Peróne Theater, Anton Lambert will perform in two concert segments. In the first, he will present a solo electroacoustic improvisation, while in the second, more acoustically oriented segment, he will be joined by local improvisers.
Admission is by donation at the door; the recommended minimum contribution is 5 €.
