BILLY BARMAN & THE GIRLS FROM SĽUK | concert

On December 5, 2026, at 8:00 p.m., the Kunsthalle/Hala umenia will be dedicated to music, dance, and Slovak folklore. Billy Barman and the Girls from SĽUK are returning with a joint concert, combining songs from the album POTICHU, new arrangements, and more intimate renditions of the songs with the energy of the dancers from SĽUK.

The fantastic reception and large turnout for last year’s series of Christmas concerts convinced the musicians that this winter, too, will be marked by folklore. At the turn of November and December 2026, their joint program will be presented not only in Košice, but also in Bratislava and Prague.

The concert will feature songs from their joint album *POTICHU*, as well as a selection from Billy Barman’s repertoire in a more intimate arrangement. The program will be enriched by brand-new arrangements of songs that will give these familiar tunes a fresh sound and atmosphere.

As is customary, the evening will also feature dancers from the Slovak Folk Art Ensemble (SĽUK). It is precisely this fusion of contemporary musical energy with traditional Slovak folklore that creates a unique concert experience, naturally bridging modern musical arrangements with tradition.
