Filmmaker Zdeněk Tyc presents the story of a father and son who share little more than the first name Richard and a prefab apartment in Adamov.

A burly, good-natured thirty-something factory worker listens to metal and only partially lets his girlfriend into his life. The gentle, retired teacher who raised him alone after his mother left is the embodiment of tenderness and understanding. However, their peacefully shared reality—in which there is room for both the hardcore band Našrot and Bergman’s *Whispers and Cries*—is disrupted one day by the sudden death of their mother, who lived nearby. Richard embarks on a unique journey of initiation, marked by unusual encounters and moments of unexpected awakening.

Tyc dives headfirst into existential themes, supported by a superbly cast ensemble led by Tomáš Vravník and Vladimír Javorský.

The screening will take place at DKC Veritas on Dominikánske Square. You can purchase tickets online or in person before the event. The final ticket price includes a €0.50 processing fee, which is added to each ticket at the payment gateway or at the box office. This fee is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
