A guest performance by the Transcarpathian Academic State Music and Drama Theater of the Brothers Juraj-Augustín and Eugen Šeregijovci. A tragic story based on Oleh Mykhailov’s play “Girls Under Oath.” A world where being born a woman means being condemned. A world where traditions are stronger than human desires, and the right to decide one’s own fate becomes an unattainable dream.

“Condemned” is a poignant and painful story about women forced to live by rules set by others. It is a story about freedom for which the price is far too high. It is a story of silence that conceals pain, fear, and desperate resistance. Is it possible to remain true to oneself in a place where others have already decided everything for you? And what is a person willing to sacrifice to gain the right to live their own life? This is a story about those whose voices others tried to silence. About destinies that defied tradition. And about women who, even in the face of an inevitable fate, longed for someone to listen to them.
