During this two-day community event, we’ll explore the bounty of the fall harvest together and learn how to turn it into fragrant treats and warming beverages. We’ll use fruits, herbs, and other gifts from the community garden to make homemade pies, herbal tea blends, and simple seasonal recipes.

Participants will try their hand at baking traditional fall pies using locally available seasonal fruit, learn about the benefits and uses of herbs, and discover how to create their own tea blends perfect for fall and winter. The event will also include an exchange of recipes, experiences, and stories across generations. The event is open to children, teens, parents, grandparents, and anyone interested in traditional skills, community gatherings, and making use of local natural resources.
