Fashion isn’t just about clothes. It’s also about imagination, experimentation, and the joy of creating something entirely your own. Kids can see this for themselves on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, when the next Fashion KidLab creative workshop takes place at SteelPark from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

During the afternoon, they’ll learn about various textile techniques that they’ll use to create their own fashion pieces. They’ll glue fabric onto fabric backing, tie knots, quilt, and cut out patterns. There will be no limits to their creativity, and the result could be an original accessory or part of their own outfit.

Fashion designer Jana Polak will guide the children through the entire program, introducing them to the world of design in a fun and accessible way. She’ll show them that creation isn’t just about the final look, but also about the idea, the story, and the courage to try new things.
