Fashion KidLab | Sleeves with a Twist

What can imagination, a few pieces of fabric, and some colorful embellishments accomplish? Children will find out at a creative workshop on November 10, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at SteelPark, where they’ll become little fashion designers for a while and create their own original fashion accessory.

Sleeves don’t have to be just a part of clothing. In the skilled hands of children, they can be transformed into colorful, playful, and unusual fashion pieces. The young fashion designers will decorate prepared fabric sleeves using tassels, patches, ribbons, strips, tulle, and other interesting materials.

As they create, they’ll experiment with various combinations of colors, patterns, and textures, let their imaginations run wild, and discover that even fabric scraps can spark great ideas.

Fashion designer Jana Polak will guide them through the creative workshop.
