General Golian
12+ (violence, fear)
The year is 1944. After ten years of unsuccessful attempts, the Golian couple finally welcome their long-awaited child. This takes place in the midst of the raging World War II and just three weeks before a major armed uprising against the German aggressors is set to break out—an uprising that Ján Golian is to lead. The couple faces a major dilemma: heroism or family? At stake is not only the future of Slovakia, but also the future of their son. In a country that is still an ally of Nazi Germany, the primary responsibility for the course of events—which would later be inscribed in Slovak history in golden letters as the Slovak National Uprising—falls on the shoulders of one man.
You can purchase tickets online or in person before the event. The final ticket price includes a €0.50 processing fee, which is added to each ticket at the payment gateway or at the box office. This fee is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
