Halfway across the planet on foot: from Bali to the Czech Republic
What is it like to walk halfway across the planet and is it even possible?
That's exactly what the vagabonds wanted to find out, so they set out with a backpack on their backs and set off from Bali, Indonesia, on a journey of over 22,000 kilometres to the Czech Republic.
On their several-year-long journey, they crossed Indonesian volcanoes, slept with local people, battled tropical heat and the ubiquitous snake. They passed through the chaos of Indian cities, ascended the mountains of Nepal and continued on through the forgotten corners of Asia - all the way to the deserts of Afghanistan. Along the way, they met countless incredibly hospitable and interesting people who often helped them when they needed it most.
Come hear a completely authentic - and at times slightly masochistic - story of hard improvisation and situations you just can't make up from your living room couch. You can expect lots of photos and videos straight from the field, but most of all a big dose of humour.
