History of wandering

A visit to the interior of the Urban Tower offers an overview of its history already on the ground floor and the first floor, where there are information banners, an exposition on the production of Mass wine with a symbolic link to St. Urban and a mention of the 14th century Košice Eucharistic miracle. The remaining three floors are devoted to medieval pilgrimage and travel - from the pilgrim's decision to embark on the journey, through his clothing, the meaning of indulgences, relics and religious objects of the East and West, to the destination, processions and important pilgrimage sites of the Košice Archdiocese, with an invitation to today's faithful to wander as well, and with a commemoration of Cardinal Jozef Tomek and Archbishop Aloysius Tkác as models of following Christ.
